Two years ago, I came within just 21 votes of being elected to the Lewisboro Town Council, despite having no background in politics, or any friends in high places.
My campaign was based on hard work, a commitment to reforming our Town Council, and being a voice for you and our neighbors.
But running was tough. It meant time away from my husband and our two young children, knocking on lots of doors and attending many meetings and local events throughout the community.
Still … I knew it was important for someone to speak up for our neighbors.
And I knew the changes I talked about were important for the future, especially for our children and grandchildren.
That’s why I’m running again this year. And I’m more determined than ever to shake things up and help bring transparency and openness to our Town Council.
Can I count on your help and support?
